Paragon’s French operation, Paragon Transaction, takes over the responsibility for servicing the Belgium Market

Paragon Transaction, based in France, has now taken over the Belgian activity. The manufacturing operations formerly in Gent in Belgium were closed in March with their manufacturing capacity being transferred to the two Paragon Transaction plants in France. This decision followed the sale of the Belgium factory in 2003.

A new sales operation, based in Gent and involving some of the previous members of the Belgian sales team, has been established and will be led by Alain Chedal Anglay who is responsible for sales in France. Its objective will be to maintain and develop the customer base by offering Belgian customers more technical, added-value solutions already sold in France and in the UK.

Says Yves Vételé, Paragon Transaction General Manager: “This is a great opportunity for us to expand our territory and make highly technically orientated transactional business solutions already sold in France available to the Belgium market.”

Added to the establishment of a new manufacturing site in Romania, this expansion allows Paragon Transaction to reinforce their leadership position in the provision of transactional solutions across Europe.

Paragon is the European leader in advanced solutions for documents, tickets, labels and print management providing advanced solutions to a broad range of customers from 7 manufacturing plants and 17 offices. Employing some 1300 people, Paragon have successfully offered business solutions to their strong customer base spanning three Centuries.
