Paragon supports global growth with expansion in Romania

Paragon Group UK Ltd, the leading print and print management specialist, has announced its continued support to the company’s global expansion after a significant increase in demand was noted at its manufacturing and trading facility in Bucharest, Romania.

The site, which opened 18 months ago, has been created to support the demands of French based Paragon Transaction’s telecommunication clients across Eastern Europe. The site has two main functions; print on demand and fulfilment with traceability of highly secure products for the telecommunications industry.

Paragon’s Sales and Marketing Director, Iain Black said: “Romania’s economy is growing fast and is forecast to attract 5.8 billion euros in direct foreign investment this year. The increase in demand for products from our site in Bucharest is a great opportunity for us to diversify our activity and offer customers more competitive prices, whilst responding quickly to the demands of our existing client base.”

The site also provides an excellent purchasing proposition for the company as a recent survey announced that local manufacturers are on average 30% more competitive than their equivalents in Western Europe.

Using this buyer power the company has quickly become a multi-million pound facility and a welcome addition to the Paragon portfolio. Employing 70 staff, the site is almost entirely automated with minimal human interaction required from receipt of order via the Internet, to despatch and tracking.

Paragon e-commerce Platform (PeP) offers a state of the art, on-line ordering facility which allows the plant to focus on added value propositions for its clients with products such as pressure seal, scratch code, integrated documents and direct mail.

Paragon is European leader in advanced solutions for documents, tickets, labels and print management, providing added value propositions to a broad range of customers from across seven manufacturing sites and 17 offices. Employing some 1,300 people, Paragon has successfully offered business solutions to a diverse and expansive client portfolio.
